A global leader in the design and manufacture of railway and transit equipment and services with $300 million in annual sales. Now owned by GE.

• Selected to plan, organize and establish a technical illustration function for technical publications-all divisions. Participated in hiring of technical writers. Negotiated with vendors and purchased equipment including scanner, software, and related supplies.
• Drew all illustrations for Harmon Products Technical Manuals used in installation, maintenance, system, operators, service, and software manuals produced in hard copy, PDF, and CD versions.
• Developed illustrations and created graphics for support of promotions, proposals, brochures, graphs and charts, CD's, and monthly newsletter.
• Created illustrations for product manuals on CD for delivery to customer. Created GIF animation, PDF files, MIDI and WAV files.

McDonnell Douglas – St. Louis, MO – Graphic Design/Illustrator
$30 billion manufacturer, and world leader in the design of state of the art military aircraft. Now owned by Boeing.

Developed lay outs and drew illustrations as well as trimetric views for reproduction in technical publications, reference works, brochures, and technical manuals dealing with structure, assembly, and installation for the production and promotion of U.S. fighter aircraft, including F-18, F-15, Harrier, YF-23, and A-12, with secret security clearance.

• Planned and organized classified conversion from CAD to UniGraphics.

• Updated Standard Parts/Vignette Library.  

• Revised Standard Practice Procedures Manual.

• Selected as illustration team member for three classified engineering projects.

• F/A-18 E and F, Product Support, Structure repair and tooling. Develop engineering wire-frames, structure, assembly and installation drawings. 
  Produce trimetric views for technical publications.

• A-12 Structure Design Engineering. Prepared assembly drawings for engineering, design parts, prepare flat patterns, assist manufacturing planning with visual aids for final assembly, organized/coordinate wire-frame files for engineers.

• Advanced Tactical Fighter/YF23 Structure Design Engineering. Developed engineering wire-frames, structure, assembly and installation for manufacturing planning.
